This is our little Florida house. We plan on buying at some point, but for the moment this is what we're renting. We had nothing at all to furnish the house or necessities, etc. Everything that we have so far - i.e., furniture, dishes, decorations, pictures, etc. - has come from either a yard sale or thrift store. My plan is to see how nice we can make this look for the least amount of $$. Should be interesting. These pics are just the beginning. We've added a few more things since then, but I don't have new pics. I'm going down next week so I'll be sure to get some.

This is an antique humidor (sp?) that we found at a neighborhood yard sale for $20. Funny thing is that the landlord was at the house one day and laughed because he had asked his neighbor to sell this for him at the yard sale and had he known that we would like it, he would have given it to us!! The other decorative pieces sitting there also came from yard sales and were about 50 cents each.

One of the coolest things about the Florida house is that we're only about 5 minutes away from beautiful Siesta Key Beach - love it!
